  • A KICKER GETS A FREE TRIP TO FIRST BASE AFTER 3 BALLS

A BALL IS CALLED WHEN:

  • A PITCH BOUNCES ACROSS HOME PLATE.
  • ANY FIELDER, INCLUDING THE PITCHER, ADVANCES TOWARD HOME PLATE BEFORE THE BALL IS KICKED.

  • OUTS HAPPEN WHEN THE KICKBALL IS CAUGHT MID-AIR, A PLAYER IS TAGGED WITH THE BALL BETWEEN BASES, OR AN OUTFIELDER TAKES A BASE WITH THE BALL IN THEIR HANDS BEFORE A RUNNER REACHES THAT BASE.

HOW TO PLAY

  1. INFLATE THE KICKBALL USING THE PUMP.  FULLY INFLATED KICKBALL SHOULD BE FIRM AND ABOUT 25” WIDE.
  2. SET UP THE FIELD WITH HOME PLATE, FIRST BASE, SECOND BASE AND THIRD BASE.
  3. DIVIDE YOUR PLAYERS INTO TWO EVEN TEAMS.
  4. THE PITCHER ROLLS THE BALL TO THE OPPOSING TEAM’S KICKER AND THE GAME BEGINS.
  5. EACH KICKER GETS 3 STRIKES BEFORE THEY ARE OUT, OR THEY ADVANCE OVER THE BASES AFTER A KICK.
  6. THE KICKING TEAM SCORES 1 POINT FOR EACH PLAYER THAT REACHES HOME PLATE.
  7. AFTER THE KICKING TEAM RECEIVES 3 OUTS, THE TEAMS SWITCH SIDES AND THE OTHER TEAM BEGINS KICKING.
  8. WHEN THE SECOND KICKING TEAM GETS 3 OUTS, THE FIRST INNING IS COMPLETE.
  9. PLAY 5, 7, OR 9 INNINGS.  THE TEAM WITH THE MOST POINTS/RUNS AT THE END OF THE INNINGS WINS!
